Howdy everyone! I’ve had these two rifles for a couple years now. The 1892 (made in 1910 I believe) was my grandfathers, who I never saw shoot it, so once I got it I have to give it a try. The 1894 saddle ring (made 1919) I bought last year and bag a whitetail doe with.

If y’all could tell me anything about these two rifle it would be great! I’m new to owning older Winchester rifle so I don’t want to damage them in anyway.

My ability to see the pictures well is limited on my phone but…..

The 1892 is 32 20 and, while in pretty modest condition, looks like a pretty decent old gun.

The barrel on 1894 is much newer than the receiver.  It looks like a good shooter grade gun.

Good morning Austin and welcome.  Your Model 1892 sporting rifle was indeed manufactured during 1910.  It appears to be 100% original and unaltered.  Grandpa never sanded the wood and refinished it.  If the bore is in reasonable condition it should shoot fine.  Is the two line barrel address stamp on the left side of the barrel or on the top just above the metal forend cap?
