Hello everyone,

I bought a few winchesters from an elderly gentleman who has a quite impressive collection. I’m posting pics of the 1894 25-35 WCF for you guys to try and give me some information about it. Its a beautiful gun and I like it very much but Im wondering if it has much value etc. Thanks for any info you guys can provide! Please let me know if my picture taking skills are crappy so I can try and do a better job.0318171844a.jpgImage Enlarger

P.S.- This is my first of many posts as I have been gobbling up many old winchesters from the elderly gentleman I mentioned above.

Thanks!

Angelo

Angelo,

It appears that the wood has been refinished.  What is the condition of the bore?

Hello Bert and Peter,

The bore is in good shape, I’m not exactly sure what I’m supposed to be looking for but my father in law says its 85-90% if that sounds right? Over all the gun looks to be in great shape and has only been touched to be oiled and cleaned over that last 30 years. The current owner has never had the wood re finished but thats not to say it was never done. I picked it up for $500 to answer your question, Peter.

Thanks for the responses

Angelo
