OfflineFellows: I have a beautiful Winchester 1892 that is having difficulty in loading. It is a 25/20 Octogan barreled case colored Winchester. When I try to load the gun, the front of the bullet goes straight up instead of into the barrel. My gunsmith did not know how to fix it. I have others that load perfectly, though they are in 44/40. Does anyone have any idea what is going wrong and how to fix it. Or someone near me that has the knowledge to fix it? I have a factory letter on this gun, but little to no information other then when the gun was made and shipped? Thanks

OfflineCould make any number of guesses. Photos of both sides of the inside of the receiver, bolt face/ejector, and carrier would go a long way.
