Ran this by Bert before I dropped the 2,500$, which in my eyes, it’s worth twice that. Was able to land one of my favorites, first year production run 1886 in .45-70. Just loaded up some 380 and 405 gr BP loads, waiting to field test it.

Wish I could go along, range trip sounds like fun. I think your estimate may be a bit low but I’m not the first to tell you that. Nice enough, honest 1886. With the right ammo I’m willing to bet it will shoot well. Nice score, congrats.
