Here is mine, inherited it from my uncle. Not sure where he got it from, he was really not a hunter or shooter. I’m thinking I may have the Cody Firearms folks run the number on it, maybe I can tell something that way. They do that, right? SN 2516098

The CFM does not have any records for that Post-WW II production Model 94s.  Is it a 30-30 WIN ?

Well poop – I kinda wondered about that. It is a 30-30. I’d a sure liked to know a little history on it, guess I should have asked.

The only piece of information I can provide is that it was manufactured sometime in the latter half of the year 1961.  You can get the precise date by contacting Pauline Muerrle.

That information is only available from the previous/past owners.  The older a Winchester is, the less likely that its history can be traced.
