I have a model 94 in 30-30 that has a serial number of 2138382x, which should place it as a 1955, but does anybody know what the rarity duplicate numbers and what it does to the value?

Blake,

Duplicate serial numbers on the post WW II Model 94 Carbines are relatively common, and have no affect on the value.  Thus far I have recorded (30) of them not including yours.  Incidentally, I have serial number 2138383X in my research survey.  Can you send me a clear picture of the serial number on your Carbine?  Also, what caliber is it?

30-30 WIN

That’s cool having the sequential duplicates.

My phone is winning the battle of the pictures…Is there another way to get it to you?

I have # 1416238X, a 1947 Flatband in my collection. It is a 32 Special. I paid a slight premium for mine. Bert already has my number. Big LarrySmileSmileSmile
