A friend and I are trying to find out if he has a unusual model 94 it was made in 1962 instead of saying it’s made in New Haven, Connecticut it says made in us any ideas I’ve looked and can’t find anything any ideas?

What is the serial number on the gun in question?  Thar will tell us when it was manufactured.

MADE IN 1961 in New Haven, Connecticut –USA.

It sounds like a standard late production pre-64 Carbine (manufactured in 1961).
