Hello, I have come across a model 94 30-30 carbine for sale with serial 600XXXX which makes it a 1991.
Walnut stock, Hooded front site…. looks like a typical 94 of this year.
This year should be a 94AE, but the barrel clearly says Model 94, and the receiver is a top eject (no cut out for angle eject)
The barrel has the proof mark on top next to the receiver. Even if it was a re-barrel, the receiver has the 600XXXX serial and is a top eject.
Its in OK condition, but the idea that we have a 1991 with top eject seems that that it could be rare.
Any idea how this could happen? Has anyone seen this before?
Thank You
J. Hager
