From a shooters perspective
I have the longer 26″ Octagon barrel Canadian Centennial offering. ( The other C.C model is a 20″ Octagon in short rifle configuration ) I got it cheap without box , so made it into a 300 M shooter by adding receiver Peep (has the factory tapped holes ), and Target aperture front. I have had a few Commeratives and preferred the full length 26″ models for the longer sight radius advantage , new bore, and heavier Octagon barrels are a bonus. My Canadian Centennial happened to give the best accuracy, of the ones I tried and as a result have sold /traded most of the other converted shooters as I do prefer to shoot Antiques, but bang for the buck on slightly used Commerative models for shooting fun is exceptional. Even Without box, they still are kept in new cond, you can try them and if not wanted you can at least get your money back by keeping same condition
