I purchased a 100% Never fired Model 70 XTR Sporter off a gentleman that was represented to be from the 1990’s.

When I looked it up the serial number(31XXXX) it would suggest it is from the 50’s but it’s just in too good of condition for me to believe that.  It truly is 100%.  FWIW, the bolt is a CRF bolt and has the serial number on the bottom.

What year was my rifle made?

Post a picture of the rifle, and include the complete serial number.
