So iv seen polishing room records mentioned on these the Cody archivists say there are no records so is there  records ?

 

and now fore the survey info              model 65 #  1005411       218. bee    bolt pep sight  and a dove tail fore a rear barrel sight ? with a plug in it?

barrel marking    sideways    1    B      (a triangle with maybe a 1 in it)   and    39 

shot gun steal butt plate

Hello Evan,

There are no records for the serial number on your Model 65. There are Polishing Room records for serial numbers 1006822 – 1007608. Based on my research, your Model 65 rifle was manufactured in the year 1939, and the barrel date matches it.
