Hello all, hope all is well with everyone. Just got done my chores and was checking out Amoskeags new on line catalog and saw they have a model 65 in 218 bee. I dont know how to do the direct link thing but it’s lot 222. Hoping to get some feed back about this gun. I like it, but, want some input from folks here. Hope some folks will oblige me here. Thanks in advance.

I think if you like the rifle, you should get it – if the price isn’t unreasonable. It’s not a collector piece of course given checkering added, “hot immersion blue” and four added tap holes for a scope. One caution, I’d sure want to see a photo of the other side of the receiver before bidding. Are you looking for one to shoot? I don’t think you will have much competition from collectors for this piece, but these days – who knows?

It sold for $2400, but with buyer’s premium, it brought $2820.

In my mind, that’s a whole lot of money for a rifle with a, “hot immersion blue” job along with four tap holes for a scope (among other alterations).
