Model 1895 "A" & "B" Lower Tang Markings|Winchester Rifles|Forum|Winchester Collector

Hello all,

I know.  If I bought the new book I wouldn’t have to ask this question most likely.  Can someone tell me what the A & B designation on the lower tang of Model 1895 rifle indicates?
