Pulled a few guns out of the safe tonight for a light coat of snake oil. Still cold with lots of snow here in the frozen north – ready for spring. You don’t see much discussion or photos on the Forum of the John Browning designed Model 1895. Nice specimens in the 35 WCF and .405 seem to be pretty scarce. Attached are a few photos of one I have had for a long time – hope someone enjoys them.

Awesome. Although I don’t understand how the collection can be enjoyed when it’s locked up in a safe all year. I am lucky enough to always have myself of wife home, we both WFH and are on staggered shifts, her days, me swing. Plus an alarm system and Dobermans. Handguns are in the safe, but here’s part of my office.IMG_3482.jpegImage Enlarger

Burt,

I enjoy your pic/post’s as the rest do. I always wondered as a person ordering a so called custom rifle/Winchester back in the day as to why that person didn’t order it with a single set trigger? We see it some times and some times we don’t naturally. I understand different tastes. That’s a beautiful “73” and not having a set trigger wouldn’t stop any of us from buying it. Very nice Rifle and we appreciate you showing us! Smile

Thanks,

Anthony

What a beautiful 1873!

I can’t even dream of owning one so beautiful, so I will just enjoy looking at yours vicariously.

Wow!
