My brother in law recently gave me this fine 1894 in 30 wcf. S/n 823284. Made in 1915.
( no in law jokes allowed in this family!)
Functions as designed. Excellent bore and shoots tight groups.
Don’t have any real history on this one.
What story do the pictures tell?
What parts have been refinished?
While with some of my guns I am often tempted to mess with them, on this one I think I have the good sense to leave it as is.
Thanks for any comments.

OfflineYour Model 1894 Sporting Rifle was manufactured in late December 1915. Based on what I am seeing in the pictures, the entire rifle has been refinished (reblued steel and refinished wood) albeit not recently. It should make a great shooter!
