I am researching a Model 1894 that was manufactured in 1905. It is a take-down model rifle in 30 WCF. It includes a Lyman peep sight. My question is what are the correct front and rear sights for the original gun. I’ve seen other rifles with Lyman peep sights where I believe the original rear sight was replaced with a folding sight (I assume to remove it from the line of sight between the peep sight and front sight).
