Hi all – as mentioned in my other post on the 1866 I recently obtained, I also picked up an 1873 as a bit of a package deal. As promised, here are pictures:
Would greatly appreciate any info or insights on this one. What I think I know: 1885 manufacture by serial number; full octagonal barrel, standard 24″ long; missing a tang sight screw. Mechanically it seems excellent.

The only issue I see which is cosmetic is that someone either tried to remove the barrel or did remove it by evidents of the marks on the corners of the barrel and the alignment mark on the receiver otherwise it looks original.
