Anyone here have info on the different profiles used on matted rifle barrels? I am aware of the the cross hatch/ checkered and the wavy line style. Ward’s has one listed but appears to be straight and parallel with the barrel.

Tom,
This rifle was previously discussed on this forum. The barrel is not factory original.

It was awhile ago, and topic tend to get buried quickly if there is no new posts. I believe that it was one of D.G.s guns that was dropped off with Ward’s to dispose of.
