OfflinePerusing the Net the other day, I checked Simpson Ltd. On their first page they had two real nice, sealed boxes of 44-40. One was a 8-8 dated box with the green label, the other a yellow box of 44 HV with the sight change label intact. Shipped price, $490.13 for both. I know Tony G. will let me know if I did good. OfflineAs a young man at gunshows I used to get the Green boxes of 44 cheap. Not sure of era , but still have one partial box -Ill check Of course I went and shot them , along with a passel of now collectable ammo. They were a novelty , being black powder and having a delayed hangfire of about 3 seconds. Taught me a lesson , and to this day I wait about 10 seconds before opening the action on a dud

I know if the green label was the earlier 73 picture box that would of been a steal but I don’t know about the 92 model boxes but I would say you did good for both. Here are the pics.
Thanks Bob. most of the nicer M92 boxes go for around $700, at least that is what I have seen. The HV loads probably go for more. Tony G is the expert, perhaps we will hear from him. Big Larry
