Dear Members,
My name is Dakota Murphy, and this is my first post on the WCA forum.
I am currently in the process of writing a book and am seeking to get in touch with Mrs. Leslee Dengler, who managed the Winchester Custom Shop until its closure in 2006. My research focuses on the Custom Shop Model 70 rifles, and I am working to gather as much detailed and accurate information as possible.
I have spoken with Mr. Don Pind on several occasions, but unfortunately, he does not have her contact information. My own online searches have also yielded no results thus far.
If anyone in this community has any information that could help me connect with Mrs. Dengler or provide further insight into the Custom Shop operations, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.
Sincerely,
Dakota Murphy

Welcome Dakota!
I would reach out to Pauline Muerrle, she was one of the last employees (engraver) working in the Winchester Custom Shop.
You can contact her via her website https://paulinemuerrle.com/ or email [email protected]

JWA, thank you.
I contacted Pauline, she was very supportive of my intentions. She sent me to Mike Feriola (who I’ve spoken with before). Mike is going to ask around for me, with no guarantee. Bruno Pardee, is another one I’d like to speak with (if he is still with us).
Again, any information about getting in contact with Leslee to anyone seeing this is welcomed.
Thanks again!
-Dakota
