I would just like comments on this rifle please. There are some things that just do not look right to me for the age of the gun. I guess I need a learn this morning. Thanks

Looks OK to me. The wood may have been cleaned up some. I can’t tell if the cleaning rods are original. There are so many fake ones out there. The end that holds the patch is not like the ones I have seen? May have been broken and crudely re-cut notches?
