I have a late model Miroku 92 Takedown in 32-20... and the mag tube does not want to re thread when assembling

I can not figure out why the mag tube on my takedown does not want to easily rethread back in when I put the takedown back together? It resists almost like it is crossthreading…. but I thread it in from the other side and goes in easily… I can’t figure this out..
