Roger, Thank you for posting some more detailed pictures of the butt plate. The picture on the #26 that you posted did not appear right to me. The top of the butt plate did not look right from the angle on that picture. With your updated pictures I believe it is correct. Thank you! You do have a very nice rifle.

I appreciate your observations and replies. I have received incorrect information on occasion over the years and it has caused some imbarrasment for me. When I was attending the Reno Shows, I could always run to either Burt or Larry Shennum for help. Even then some anomalies were overlooked. I am not an expert on anything and I know just enough to get myself onto trouble. Thank you all for your help and information. RDB
