I have recently come into possession of this rifle .   Made by Winchester in New Haven, CT sometime I believe in the late 1890s for the US Navy.

Has -U.S.N.- stamped on top.  Serial number N5780.

Pictures available. (I do not know how to attach)

Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated.

Chris,

What is the caliber marking? I suspect that you may have a Lee Navy. You can send pictures to me at [email protected]
