A friend ask me to try and get info on a Winchester 94 he has. It appears to be a special made gun from a group of guns I’m guessing, made for Dodge. It has a medallion in the butt stock which reads 1984 Dodge Marksman on top and Winchester on bottom with the Dodge Ram emblem in the center. It is a saddle ring carbine with brass ring and loading gate, case color receiver with scroll, stock has cut checkering and barrel has Winchester 94 XTR 30-30 and New Haven address. Any idea as to worth and maybe how many might have been made. He said he was told it was presented to top salesmen or top dealerships and he thinks it might have been from someone that worked at a dealership somewhere in Florida. Thanks in advanced
Your friend was misinformed.
Dodge offered the special edition Model 94 to qualifying buyers who purchased a brand new 1984 Dodge Marksman Truck for a minimal fee. There are no records for how many of them were made, but the estimates are > 1,500 + of all types were made.
As for the value… maybe $600.
