Just called on this one and, of course, it’s sold already. Guy at Cabelas said the phone’s been ringing off the hook. I normally go for higher condition but wouldn’t pass it up at that price. My assessment is it’s worth about double+ the Cabelas price. Somebody sure got a good deal.

Whoa – what a deal – plus antique status – no transfer needed? Nope. Dates to 1899. I suspect they were using the Madis numbers.

Cabelas does 4473’s on antiques, last time I bought one, anyway. I only use my C&R with stores other than Ft Worth to have them shipped direct.
