Sorry for no link as I’m hoping someone can post it here. In the current Gunrunner Auction for September,7, 2024, item #1 list a Winchester Model 1886, #56,992, 45-70 Caliber, in unbelievable condition, as another Attic find and another remarkable story. With a Cody letter, mfg. in 1891, according to the story, it was found in a house in Cleveland Ohio,(“The Clevelander”), from a forgotten hoarder. Smile
