I have a model 1894 in the 575,000 range, caliber is 32-40.  It has a 20 inch barrel 3/4 mag, shotgun butt and has carbine sights.  I am assuming it is an eastern carbine it has no saddle ring, but with that serial number I believe placing it around 1912 is that possible that early to be a eastern carbine?

Thanks

I may be wrong, but I think you could delete the sling ring at any time. You could also have them put on rifles. It’s a slight variation and I doubt it carries much premium.  Big Larry

Kash,

It more than likely is a special order Carbine with a 2/3 mag.  Can you post (or send me) clear pictures of it, and include the complete serial number ?
