Rick,

I would love to go to the Cody show to sell my Winchesters, but I am in NC. That is quite a hike. That is a lot of unsold tables for a smaller show. In my opinion the Sorry Economy , the greying of collectors and the lack of new collectors is part of the reason.  Old firearm collecting has gotten expensive. I bet we said the same thing when we first started collecting. I look forward to the Collector  on this show.

Regards

Walter

I have only been to the Cody show one time, I wish I could go more often. The show and the museum are a must for any Winchester collector. My dad is an aircraft broker and about 10 years ago he had a Falcon 20 that needed to be delivered to the west coast. We decided to stop in Cody for the show and spend three or four days at Yellowstone. The guys at the Cody airport were not used to dealing with a plane that size. We had to park it out of the way on the ramp since they had no way of moving it around.

I won’t be able to make it this year, wish I could. I just attended the Blade Show in Atlanta a few weeks ago and it’s too hard to get away to two shows that close together. I will definitely be there next year.
