Greetings from chilly Cody, Wyoming!

November was a busy month for us in Cody. We did more than 600 serial number searches and more than 200 factory letters.

I also travelled to Reno, Nevada to attend and help out everyone at the Big Reno/WACA show. I did 155 of those serial number searches during the four days at Reno! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat, look up guns, and learn more about the Records Office and the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.

I was back in the office after Reno for a few days and last week had surgery which has had me out of the office all last week. Connie covered the office valiantly last week and I am back a few hours a day now. We do ask for your patience as we work on getting everything looked up and returned to you. Thanks!

We will be open December 12 and 13 to help out the folks at National Gun Day in Louisville. Call in with your look-ups and questions.
