Cody is always a highlight of the year. I could only make it Friday morning, so I left at 5:00 AM to get there when they opened the doors. 5th table in, I found this nice 1873 Deluxe 38-40 with a single set trigger. I made a quick trip through the show, looking for something else in case there was something better, but there wasn’t.

It is also good to see the survivors of the epidemic and shake hands with a few, Bert, Rob, Brad , Vangie, Clarence and his adorable wife, and some others I failed to mention.

Typical of Cody, a great show, although I don’t like seeing jewelry vendors and knife guys, but that is what it seems to be coming to…

Nice find! I was almost across the aisle from that gun. Friday was a pretty busy day, sorry I didn’t get to meet you.

Looks like a nice original 73.

I saw that rifle on the same table in 2019.  It was quite a bit cheaper then.  Thought about buying it at the time, but I already had the same rifle in nearly identical condition.  It is a very  nice  gun.

If it’s not offensive to anyone, how much in 2019 and how much now?
