I have a question about the 3 and 4 piece cleaning rods that store in the buttstock. I know that the rifles used a 4 piece and carbines used a 3 piece but are all the rods the same length? I mean, can a 4 piece rod set be used in a carbine by leaving one of the sections out? Been looking for a 3 piece set but I seem to find more 4 piece rods for sale. Thanks

Cliff,
The carbine rods are longer than the rifle sets. You could use a 4 piece rifle set in a carbine and it would work as long as your not concerned about originality.
