I am a budding Winchester lever action collector.  I have a 1892 and a couple of 94’s.

Any suggestions on what books I should acquire?

So far I have: The Winchester Handbook by Madis and Winchester Repeating Arms Co. by Houze.

Robert Renneberg’s 1894/94 book is an absolute must-have. Madis’ Winchester book, too. Arthur Pirkle’s books should be acquired. Bill West’s books are entertaining but contain a lot of bad info…fortunately, they’re not easy to find….
