Hi
What hassles should I expect sending correct trappers to ATF for clearance?

If their the real deal, no problems. I sent 2 in in last yr. It took about 8-10 wks. to get them back with letter removing them from the NFA.

Contact the BATF’s Firearms Technical Branch (FTB), and they will send you the information needed to get it cleared.
