Cool guns. I especially like every single one of them.

Nice collection! What’sthe 4th one down? Seems uncommon being a Lightweight Rifle but a full length magazine and takedown. I think most of these didn’t have full length magazines—to reduce weight.
It’s a 45-70 elw take down. I like that one alot as I have a letter from 1968 addressed to the owner I got it from. And it letters with the screw eyes!

Thanks for the compliment Mike, means alot to me that you guys are giving favorable comments on my efforts to preserve some of these guns. Btw I shoot them occasionally too!
Quite honestly my opinion doesn’t count for much but I truly enjoy your illustration of the variety of configurations using specimens in remarkably good condition. Eye candy indeed!

Ian, I would like to add that the bottom one is also a Lwt with a full magazine. Don’t feel they are “rare” just not seen as often especially in 33wcf. But I am sure to be corrected shortly tho. Just fun to collect as the variants are so wide spread.

Great grouping Tom! Thanks for sharing. I’m thinking the second from the top is a .45-90 with a matted barrel?
Oh Steve, Steve, Steve, you have come to know me to well. Of course it is and it has a checkered trigger to boat and letters.
Yes – the checkered trigger! That letters! I had forgotten it had that feature. Very cool – especially when combined with the other features.
