Winchester 1873 1st model serial number 4538.
Are the parts for the 1st model different than for the later models? This is the sheet the gunsmith sent over for me to locate. Any suggestions? Ebay has screws and pins for sale.
The gun I had listed earlier on this site, just a shooter looking to get up and running again.

You have a first model and the parts diagram is for a third model. The major differences will the the dust cover and the lever latch are completely different. Finding repos are probable your best chance.
The firing pin retractor is interchangeable.
The first model side tang screws are not the same as the third model, you can use second model screws.
The trigger pin would the same as a third model.
First models do not have a trigger block safety so no screw or spring.
The main spring strain screw should be the same.
