Hello

Does anybody know why I am getting this error message when I try to reply to a PM?

Just sent 1892Takedown a PM and it went through. Maybe they fixed the problem.

I have gotten a similar error message before after posting something. So then I backed up and hit "submit" again, and got some double post action. Luckily I was quick to delete the second post…no one should be subjected to my writing more than once per reply…

Michael,

I too have had that same error occur, but in each case, the message that I had just composed posted correctly. When you see the error, simply return to the forum index. I do not know what causes it, but when we upgrade the forum software, it will hopefully be resolved.

Thanks guys. I was getting the error message while trying to respond to some PM’s so I could not check the forum thread to see if anything had posted correctly. They do show up in my "Outbox" listing so I assume they went.

Thanks,
Michael

Going back to the WinchesterCollector.org Forum Index works perfectly and post/reply was made.

Thanks, Brad

Here is a link to a post about this very topic that I made almost seven years ago (I had forgotten that I made it) –
