Hello,

It does depend what size of .22 ammo you are talking about since they are different lengths. The Model 62 magazine would hold 20 .22 Shorts, 16 .22 Longs, and 14 .22 Long Rifles. This is an instance where "size counts"!!

Thank you for your reply. My question is when bought new did the 62a come with an 11 or 14 round outside magazine tube. It appears both may have been available and are different lenghts.

Talking .22LR the M.62 came with a longer tube that took 14 while the earlier M 90 and M 06 had a shorter 11 round tube

I can find no evidence that Winchester offered the M.06 magazine for the M.62 but there is no reason they couldn’t be swooped by an owner
