Trying to help out a friend that was given an 1892 model with a serial number that indicates it was originally made in 1911 or 1912. However it is chambered for the 30 caliber M1 carbine round, marked on the barrel, beautifully done and looks like a factory rework. Any way to find out more about this item?
Thanks Melvin
