I recently purchased one of these 94/95 hybrid carbines with serial number 1032290. Bert was kind enough to send me a copy of the survey he had been working on. I noticed that mine is one of three carbines documented that has a consecutive serial number somewhere out there. Does anyone have or know the whereabouts of serial number 1032291? If so, I would be very interested and would love to hear about it.

Thanks,
Don

There is one of these for sale on GB with s/n 1032143. Since it is right near your s/n that checked out, then this one may be right also. The only problem with the one for sale right now is, most of the rifles this seller offers, the reserve never seems to be met. The short rifle I have been following has been relisted 44 times since March of 2012 and never been sold yet. The rifles letters and is correct. The highest bid was $5,000.00 ( not me ) and the lowest bid was $700.00. ( also not me )

Paul

If you are not familiar with this version of the carbine, you can see it at the link below.

Don:

Is your carbine a 20" or 22" barrel? How about the front sight – is it pinned or dovetailed?

Thanks………..

Rick,

It is listed in the last update that I sent you… 20", dovetailed.

There was one of the 94/95 Carbines at the Denver CGCA show in May. I saw it on Friday during my quick walkthrough and had planned to go back and examine it, but got severely distracted by all of the 1st Generation Colt Single Actions. Embarassed

It looked to be in very nice condition and if I recall correctly it was priced in the $3000 range.
