First one I have missed in years and my BIL picked up a 90%++ 1921 M1892 Carbine in 44-40 for $2,000. He also scored a US marked High Wall 22 long rifle musket. I picked a fine time to stay home. Big Larry

$2,000 for a 90% plus? Yup, that hurts. Don’t kick yourself too hard though Larry. Happens to us all.

At a happy place in life, I finally better appreciate all the great guns that didn’t get away. A cup more than just half full, it works for me.
Excuse the philosophical aside, but life often ‘happens’ integral with the perspective…

Larry,

I too did not make it to the Big Reno show (big family & friends get together, including a pig roast this weekend) , but Iwill definitely be there in November.

I am extremely interested in getting the details on the Winder Musket your BIL acquired… I have never seen a high-wall Winder with U.S. markings!

Larry,

Likewise on the Model 1892. If I can get the SN and the further info I would appreciate it greatly.

Larry,

No rush on my part, and feel that I can safely say the same for Michael.
