It is getting bad. A dealer tried to pass a minty M1892 oct. bbl 44-40 off on me at a Vegas show a couple years back for $10,000. Then, last week a minty M1892 44 carbine shows up and it is a very good restoration being passed off as a near mint carbine for $6,700. Someone said,"TRUST NO ONE!!!", and I guess he really meant it. I sure am lucky to have very knowledgeable folks here. They have saved me twice. Big Larry
