OH THE HUMANITY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually it is designed to be used against Zombies if you read the description closely. I am not certain they still rate as "humanity" at that stage of decomposition!!

I would be interested if it had the original wood shipping crate.

The gal that spoke at the Cody banquet would bid on it…
Brad,
I had the exact same though, and I sent Jesi an email asking for her name and email so that I can send her a link to that auction. Just think, next year we might be able to see it on display ❗

This might be the future of Winchester collecting and gun collecting in general. When I attend collector and gun shows I see the age of the guys interested in old Winchesters. 50+, and most in their 60s+. In reality, I believe most most young guys would be more interested in this gun than an original old Winchester. All the young shooters I know lust after ARs and AKs, not old Winchesters, and a zombie gun would be more appealing to them than an "old west" gun.
Yes, agreed. At a local show I recently saw a Glock 17 with a large modern 10 inch clip point blade bowie knife, complete with green plastic handle, mounted on the underside from the small slot on the frame.
I recently had a GB user contact me about the expensive SRC I have for sale wanting to know if $500 in CASH would buy it. He liked the way it "looked" to shoot pigs in south Texas.
So, yes, sad commentary.
Sorry to hijack the thread. Back to real wraco talk.
At least there are some serious and real collectors left who truly appreciate high condition and/or very rare items. That’s what is great about our club and why I became a life member many years ago. Less of us, possibly, but as the economy improves and some of the less experienced collectors learn more, the good stuff will continue to be sought out. Common, rough, examples will probably be left behind. Just my thoughts.

I think there are a whole group of people that were "priced out" of the higher condition or unique older lever guns and moved into later guns or pump 22s for example. It’s my belief that as prices rise a larger and larger number of people will seek alternatives but still collect. I think they are serious and real collectors too and I disagree with your first sentence. These collectors might own a handful of nice guns that could pay for that one high condition and/or rare gun. I have a feeling a lot of them would still rather have the handful of nice guns. I respect collectors on either end of the spectrum whether they collect very high condition guns or rough guns, common or rare. My own tastes are the guns that got used more, have some wear but were cared for and show the owner(s) took care of them through their use. Mostly 1900-1920 era hunting rifles. The great thing about WACA hopefully is that there is room for everybody who’s interested in Winchester or at least Winchester and old firearms in general. If it’s not than I’ll be out of WACA tomorrow.
Respectfully,
Brad
You may be reading too much into what I said. We are in agreement that all spaces within the hobby have their spot and group of followers. And yes, some guys would rather have one more expensive high end gun to another guys 5 less expensive guns. But, yes, it is the other way too. Jist is… A great hobby with all opinions and niches for all who love the WRACO product and history. And yes, I do own some very scarce guns, but I also love my shooters. I think we may agree, but express a little different. Tony
