Just got this early 2nd model 1890 #22964.
It has an unusual cartridge lifter…I’ve seen this notch on first models, but this is the first time on a second model. Anyone else run across this….was there any purpose to the notch? (except for a spot to break off LOL)
This rifle also has the first model barrel and sights.
