With my eyes the buckhorn is almost use less and the tang mounted Lyman No. 2 is useless.

Is there a dovetail mounted aperture?

If you want to get best accuracy your best bet is to extend the sight radius with a good tang site. Unfortunately the New Marbles and Lyman sights are useless. Where as some older units of these makes are quite adequate in function as well as keeping it authentic
