Wondering what is available for this one without having to drill holes in Dad’s ol’ rifle.

64 year old eyes need help.

Thanks from an oldie with a goldie.

Jack,

If you Model 94 is a 1957 vintage Carbine, it was factory drilled & tapped on the upper left rear side of the receiver frame for a Lyman No. 66A peep sight. The Redfield No. 70 and 80 series sights will also mount on those same holes.

Thanks heaps !, as I intend to take a deer with Dad’s old gun.

Will I be able to use original front sight?

Don’t really want to change it.

Again, thanks.

Appreciate it Bert, and what good folks you “pony rider” people are!

Guess I’ll register and try to learn more.

Thanks,

The 66A is the right sight for a ’57 production 94 or possibly a Lyman 56. I have one for sale if you are interested, an all steel model offered pre 1969. PM if you are interested. A Williams receiver sight will also work or a Redfield 102E.
