Hey everyone, my first post here. My Dad had guns hidden all over the house. And when I say hidden, I mean *INSIDE* the walls. Luckily he told us about this before he passed away. Now my Mom is moving and selling the house, so we’re emptying out the house.

Here’s a few Winchester Rifles I’ve got, there’s more but these are the only ones I’ve had time to photograph.

Could you guys tell me anymore about these (approx value, should I insure them, are they worth handing down to my kid, should I shoot them, etc.)

First one: Model 94, "Winchester Classic" 30-30.

Hard to read in the photo, but it’s "3163926"

Second one: Model 94, .32 Special. It’s missing the Lyman side sight, I might try to replace it with one that should go on there, if I can’t find the original one (or if that one was added aftermarket).

Third one: Model 1886, 38-56 WCF, around 1890’s

I didn’t get a photo of the serial number of this one, but the Winchester Historian dated it at 1891.

If I’ve missed any other areas to photograph, let me know I can do it tonight.

Thanks in advance for the input.

There’s also a ’66 Centennial 94 in the box, the box outer sleeve isn’t perfect, but the gun is gorgeous with gold parts and appears to never been fired. I didn’t get time to photograph it.

Welcome to the forum scramble.

I wouldn’t know what to tell you on valuing your rifles unfortunately.

What’s the gun with the pistol grip and the red rubber butt pad?

The KK is an interesting rifle to me. I fired one two days ago. If you want to learn about them, you will have more luck at the American Single Shot Rifle Association Forum. In spite of the name, they discuss the rest of the world’s single shots at length.
