looking for a little help guys I have a Winchester 1873 carbine that letters with a carbine stock as well a rifle stock and set trigger I will have Jessi from cody run the serial # for me just looking to see if there is any more out there good chance that this is the only one??? thanks for any help Brent

I would guess it was a carbine and was changed to a rifle butt with set. What is the current configuration? What does the letter state?

Thanks for reply Bob the factory letter states it is a 44 cal carbine with set trigger rifle stock/carbine stock just trying to see if any more out there

I would request a copy of the ledger entry on it. A little light might be shed by where things were written.
