OfflineQuick question for the Ammo experts here on the forum.
This just surfaced on a local auction site.—-
100 plus pieces of clean 356 brass ![]()

Curious about the prospect of necking it down and building some 32-40.
Feel free to chime in and give me your input. Probably another “rabbit hole/wild goose” chase.

OfflineI think there are better starting places (ideally 38-55) if you want to make 32-40 brass and someone out there will be very happy to find brass as hard to find as the .356 Winchester. If you’ll look at the dimensions and shape (rimmed vs. semi-rimmed) of the case near the head and not just the case rim diameter you’ll see my point. 32-40 brass comes up now and then but until Starline or Winchester make another run it will be pricey. Happy Hunting!
