Saw this completed auction for some .351 Winchester SL ammo.  https://www.gunbroker.com/item/815381274  Seemed pretty pricey to me.

I think the buyer got a bargain, I’ve watched single boxes go for around the $100 mark. You can’t buy the components and brass to load for a little over a dollar a round………

Darn! I bought 3 full boxes from a country store many years ago for $2 a box of 50. I sold them for $20 a box about 10 years ago. They sure have increased in value over the intervening years.

If you think .351 has gone up then look at .401 SL.  The major players stopped making it in 1936.

WACA No. 9886.  Constantly learning about Model 1907 and Model 1910 Self-Loading Rifles.

I am in full agreement with this.  I am sincerely surprised that it sold this low.  Looks like very clean and desirable ammunition.

If the seller of that ammo would have listed it by the single box he probably would of gotten a much better price than dumping all 3 boxes at the same time.

I have a 1907 that is 111 (1909) years old, replaced the buffer and the recoil spring, and bought dies, brass and bullets for it, have loaded some up, just waiting to see if my retina detachments (both eyes) heal enough to see the sights to at least wring it out.

mine has four notches on the top of the buttstock near the back, assume it was for animals killed, and not a guard keeping track.
